Kia ora koutou! Hi everybody, it's been a while. How are all you crazy kids? Tell me how 2011 is treating you so far.
Chapter Three is here!
Yep, you heard it right. The third and final chapter before I wrap this story up for good, some time before the middle of this year. I'm actually pretty excited about the next oh, twenty-six-or-so pages; we've got some pretty epic stuff lined up for our intrepid little band. Out of the frying pan, as they say...
Obligatory artistic angst
To be honest I've been a little apprehensive about getting back into this, because well, apart from anything else this is a comic about a game of D&D that I played-- and it was a couple of years ago now. It's not- and never has been- a serious artistic project, and I've kinda been itching to do one of those before I drop off the face of the internet later this year. But at the same time, I don't like leaving it sitting there incomplete, and I did promise you all a proper finish. So. Let it never be said that I am anything but a man of my word!

[Edit] October 2010 - You may notice I'm migrating my friend list over to my main account timderyk (https://www.deviantart.com/timderyk), because it saves logging into two separate accounts and I'll be better able to see more of your guys' lovely art. This account abandonment does not bode well for any of you looking for a third flickwit (https://www.deviantart.com/flickwit) chapter any time soon, I'm sorry. It will happen eventually. Maybe in the Christmas holidays? All depends on work and study.
tl:dr Once again, thanks. Chapter three's going to be a while away, but in the meantime let's draw some other stuff instead. Hit me up for trades.

 Greetings to all my lovely friends and watchers, both old and new! Welcome to the new year and a brand new chapter of flickwit (https://www.deviantart.com/flickwit)! This year promises all manner of wonderful sights and sounds; read on to find out all about it.
 My first order of business will to offer up celebratory art trades with all and sundry. Draw something for me, I'll draw something for you. It'll be like one big happy online mutual fanfest. Drop me a note or a comment here or at timderyk (https://www.deviantart.com/timderyk) if you feel so inclined.
Now then, on to the matters at hand. I recall last year as I was wrapping up the last pages of Chapter One, I was- as always- listenin
Unnatural Selection - Conclusion
:#1: And that's a wrap! Our intrepid adventurers have fought all manner of beasties, braved the mindflayer's diabolical dungeon and emerged, triumphant, to-- what, exactly? They're outside, but it seems they're not out of the woods yet.
:sun: So what happens next? Story-wise, you're not going to know until next year. See, I'm off to the beach over summer where I'll have no internet access to speak of; so I'll hold off starting chapter two until I'm back to civilisation and properly settled into the new decade. Tentatively... February, I guess.
:painter: I'm not sure how to put this but I'd really like to see some of y'all draw my characters
Unnatural Selection (update)
:bulletgreen: Fifty strips in the bag means I'll take a moment to engage in a little introspection time. If there's anything I've picked up in the last year it's confidence. There was a time when this whole thing was a terrible task, and it took a great deal of time and effort to produce a fairly sub-standard three panel strip with inconsistent characters and no background. Now I'd consider a full comic page a day- from blank page to finished inks and scan- a perfectly reasonable goal if you put your mind to it.
There's a sneaking suspicion that this whole exercise hasn't been as useful as it could have been. It's been fourteen months and I
